Mr. FRM Hafiz ul Islam, Managing Director, Bangladcesh Shilpa Rin Sangstha (BSRS) handed over an instrument of Tk. 1 (one) crore to Dr. Mirza Azizul Islam, Finance Adviser on July 29, 2007 on account of the payment of dividend for the FY 2005-2006. Dr. Mohammad Tareque, Secretary, Finance Division were also present on the occasion.

Mr. FRM Hafiz ul Islam, Managing Director, BSRS is presenting a paper at a seminar on Industrial growth and the Role of Financial Institutions organized by International Business Forum of Bangladesh on 5 September 2007 at a city hotel.

Bangladesh Shilpa Rin Sangstha (BSRS) organized a day long workshop on “BASEL Capital Accord -II’’ on May 12, 2007 at BSRS Bhaban. Mr. FRM Hafiz ul Islam, Managing Director, BSRS inaugurated the Workshop as the Chief Guest. 48 officials participated in the workshop. Credit Rating Information and Services Limited (CRISL) conducted the workshop.

Bangladesh Shilpa rin Sangstha (BSRS) and Credit Rating Information and Services Limited (CRISL) has entered into an agreement under which CRISL rated the Sangstha Mr. FRM Hafiz ul Islam, Managing Director, BSRS alongwith senior officials from both sides were present.

The Board of Directors of Bangladesh Shilpa Rin Sangstha (BSRS) approved the audited Financial Statement of BSRS for FY 2006-2007 of the109th Emergency Board meeting held on 17 November 2007 at BSRS Bhaban. BSRS earned a profit of Tk. 16.58 crore during FY 2006-2007. Mr. Nazem A. Choudhury, Chairman, BSRS Board of Directors, presided over the meeting. Mr. FRM Hafiz ul Islam, Managing Director, BSRS is seen on the right of the Chairman, alongwith other Directors.

Bangladesh Shilpa Rin Sangstha (BSRS) arranged a Milad Mahfil and Iftar Party on 8 October 2007 at BSRS auditorium. Mr. Nazem Ahmad Chaudhury, Chairman, Board of Directors and Mr. FRM Hafiz ul Islam, Managing Director, BSRS along with other Directors, Officers & staffs attended the Mahfil.
